The Rite of Spring group exhibition presents recent works by six contemporary Israeli artists, reflecting various aspects of their art and outlook.
The exhibition will feature works made in various techniques – ranging from sketchbook drawings to site-specific installations. Digital and animation drawings, readymade, oil paintings and sculptures will thus share the gallery space in harmony and/or disharmony.
The exhibition revolves around the tension between classical techniques and their current interpretations as well as expresses the refreshing way in which these artists deal with materiality and material experimentalism.
